Overview

Chick-fil-A Supply’s delivery network continues to quickly expand, requiring the need for new cold storage distribution centers and food processing facilities to be enabled in new markets. The New Facilities IT Technical Project Lead will be responsible for owning and running a playbook to ensure successful implementation of enterprise systems, integrations, and other modern technologies for each of these new facilities. Your responsibilities include playbook strategy, planning activities, project execution, reporting, and more. In this role you will work closely with our System Owners, Product Owners, Engineers, and Vendor Partners. This role will also support the management of new facility requirements in partnership with our business partners, PMO, and our IT Team Members. Success in this role means new facilities and their technology are delivered timely and with a high level of care and empathy demonstrated throughout the process.

This subsidiary is in the early stages of development and is a dynamic, fast-paced work environment focused on launching this new service to Restaurants across the nation.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains a repeatable playbook ensuring a scalable, efficient, and consistent IT implementation approach for each new facility
  • Owns the implementation coordination across System Owners, Product Owners, Engineers, and Vendor Partners for each new facility
  • Areas of implementation include enterprise systems, integrations, master data, mobile apps, and more
  • Provides timely updates and raises risks to critical stakeholders
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand the technology needs of each new facility
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of key business processes, products and services and provides input and advice to key business stakeholders
  • Coordinate after action reviews to capture lessons learned and apply to future facility implementations
  • Coordinates with both internal Team Members and 3rd party providers to resolve IT issues and risks that occur during the implementation and go-live of new facilities
  • Coordinates activities across all stakeholders (internal and external) to identify interdependencies in terms of timelines, milestones, and deliverables

Minimum Qualifications

  • Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills; a team player, yet able to work independently when necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to run multiple projects in various stages, simultaneously
  • Demonstrated people leadership qualities
  • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with both business and technology partners
  • Strong desire to identify continuous improvement opportunities and bring them to life
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effective short-term and long-range planning
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or related businesses
  • Broad range of technology experience and expertise
  • Self-starter with excellent project management and organization skills
  • Exceptional problem solving and communication skills, detail oriented, creative, and strong organizational skills
  • Able to anticipate team needs, lead multiple projects, and manage shifting priorities
  • Experience with QA activities including integration testing and user acceptance testing
  • Exposure to enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS, TMS, Workday, etc.
  • Systems requirements management experience
  • Understanding of integrations and cloud infrastructure
  • Smartsheets experience
