The Human Resources (HR) Leader will report to the Regional Human Resource Leader and oversee the day-to-day operations of the human resources team at the new Chick-fil-A Supply Distribution Center (DC) in Charlotte, NC. This individual will help lead a workforce to distribute millions of cases of inventory annually to Chick-fil-A Operators throughout the southeast. The HR Leader will ensure that the workforce can meet the demands of the DC, working closely with HR leaders at Chick-fil-A, Inc. and other Chick-fil-A Supply distribution centers to drive the HR strategy at the DC. The HR Leader will manage reward and benefit systems to help meet broader organizational goals. This person will help drive continued innovation at an operation like no other in the food service industry, by focusing specifically on the engagement and development of the workforce. This role will be uniquely challenged with their participation in the stand up of a brand-new DC and the testing and refinement of a new facility implementation playbook to assist in the stand up of future facilities. Additionally, this role will be trained and train other talent professionals at various distribution centers in the network.. Most importantly, the HR Leader will lead in a way that supports Chick-fil-A’s vision and strategy while embodying the corporate purpose.
