Warehouse Associate, ASRS Cold Storage

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick-fil-A restaurants. In this role you'll be supporting our Automatic Storage and Retrieval system at the Chick-fil-A Supply Hutchins, TX Distribution Center. Schedule: Monday through Saturday from 7 AM to 8:30PM (3x13) or until the work is done:

• 3 Day Workweek (3 13-hour days)
• The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Pay: Starting at $19 an hour

As a Warehouse Associate, you are a key driver in the efficiency, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.

• Efficiency and Organization: You’ll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products onto the fully automated storage and retrieval system, outbound trucks according to company policies and weight/loading restrictions.  You will be interacting and working around rail cars amd loading full pallets of potato products onto trailers.
• Safety First: Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe.
• Communication and Care: Connecting with care with everyone you come in contact with.

• Extreme Temperature: This role takes place in our cold storage facility, which has a temperature of roughly 30-34F. You'll be expected to work the majority of your day in this climate.
• Heavy Weights: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED

• Working in a warehouse and/or material handling is preferred but not required, and previous work in food distribution is a plus.
  
• ASRS, conveyor, or similar system experience is a plus.
