About Chick-fil-A Supply


As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will report to the Assistant General Manager lead a shift
of warehouse staff for the Chick-fil-A Supply Distribution Center in Charlotte, NC. You will lead a
team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service for Chick-fil-A® restaurant
Operators while ensuring safety and achievement of several critical key performance indicators
(KPIs). In this role, you will support the seamless integration of warehouse and transportation operations. The warehouse supervisor will also help drive continued innovation at an operation like no other in the food service industry.

provider focused entirely on serving the unique needs of Chick-fil-A® restaurants. Due to
steady, year-over-year sales and volume growth, combined with the complexity in our
Restaurants, Chick-fil-A believes it’s best able to serve current and future Restaurant needs
through distribution innovation that extends the Chick-fil-A culture of care to those it serves, as
well as those it employs. This new subsidiary is in the early stages of development and is
a dynamic, fast-paced work environment focused on launching this new service to Restaurants
across the nation.

Responsibilities

As the warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for motivating, staffing, scheduling and
troubleshooting a team responsible for receiving, loading, staging and completing other
warehouse tasks. In addition, you will ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and
regulations regarding safety and food safety. In this role, you also will:


• Recommend potential operational improvements to the warehouse manager
• Closely collaborate with DC leaders to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks
• Carefully monitor expenditure data and support budget management
• Instill a culture of safety, engagement and positivity that reflects Chick-fil-A values and honors the role    of Operators
• Publish KPIs for the warehouse and drive improvement as needed
• Balance the needs of the Operator with the capabilities of the operation
• Collaborate with the warehouse manager regarding staff performance; identify and drive
   areas of improvement; and recognize team members’ outstanding performance
• Support warehouse staff as needed
• Support Chick-fil-A vision and strategy
• Drive innovation in the distribution center operation
• Complete other activities as deemed valuable by management

Minimum Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must:
• Demonstrate functional knowledge and expertise in food service distribution:
• Warehousing
• Operations (including Six Sigma and Lean)
• Engineering standards
• Warehouse equipment
• Performance metrics
• Demonstrate working knowledge of innovations in supply chain and warehouse
  operations
• Complete physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds consistently
• Prepare for a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and rotating shifts
• Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with all food safety and general safety
  standards, quality specifications, and laws and regulations
• Have experience with food service distribution
• Have at least five years of experience in warehousing leadership
• High school degree or similar

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally, you will have:
• A keen understanding of warehouse design, layout and flow
• Experience with a warehouse management system
• At least 10 years in warehouse operations supporting food distribution
• A demonstrated ability to perform and adapt in a changing environment
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
