Overview

The Sr. Lead Insight Analyst, Financial Modeling is responsible for maintaining and updating both Chick-fil-A Supply and Bay Center Foods long-term financial models and reporting financial data to leaders across the business. This individual will have experience translating new business concepts into financial statement models to allow leaders to better understand financial performance and make key business decisions. This role will involve coordinating with subject matter experts and key stakeholders across the business to understand investment opportunities and ensure appropriate due diligence is applied to business decisions. An understanding of accounting concepts, financial return metrics and methodologies, technology tools and data structures is also required. The role requires a skilled problem-solver who is constantly innovating and learning new skills while engaging with stakeholders across the business to meet shared objectives.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Chick-fil-A, Inc., Chick-fil-A Supply™ is a distribution service provider focused entirely on serving the unique needs of Chick-fil-A restaurants. This position will provide multi-site, financial planning and analysis (FP&A) leadership for our network.

Due to steady, year-over-year sales and volume growth, combined with the complexity in our Restaurants, Chick-fil-A Supply supports current and future Restaurant needs through distribution innovation that extends the Chick-fil-A culture of care to those it serves, as well as those it employs.

 

The Chick-fil-A Supply distribution service network is comprised of two components:

  • Distribution Center – State-of-the-art warehouses that house supply for Chick-fil-A restaurants
  • Transportation – Growing fleet of delivery vehicles that supply Chick-fil-A restaurants
  • Cold Storage – Capital investment dedicated to maintaining freezer space for critical product

Responsibilities

Financial Modeling:

  • Enhance and maintain financial model for our multi-site network
  • Ensure integration into parent entity’s financial in partnership with Shared Services
  • Obtain a solid working knowledge of the primary drivers of operations and their impact on financial performance
  • Develop and present financial analyses, reports, and presentations to senior leadership to support decision-making for new investments
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization to solicit feedback on upcoming projects and future business endeavors
  • Work cross functionally with Finance and Accounting teams on capital and other asset-based purchases

General:

  • Partner with parent organization’s shared services team to deliver financial support for the entity
  • Manage financial aspects of the business with a focus on financial sustainability of both the entity and the larger enterprise
  • Assist with the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes for multiple centers
  • Identify key business trends through benchmarking, KPI tracking and analysis
  • All other duties as may be assigned at leader’s discretion

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, Finance or Business-related field
  • 5+ years of relevant business experience
  • Excellent business communication and presentation skills
  • Financial Modeling experience
  • FP&A Experience in a multi-location organization
  • Strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with ERP Systems such as Oracle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • MBA
